White, Criswell wed in Palmer

Richard H. White and Cimmie L. Criswell were married on August 11 at the residence of Marty and Agnes Quaas in Palmer.

Richard is from Riverside, Ca. and is the son of Marty and Agnes Quaas from Palmer. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1993. He attended two years at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Cimmie is from Mineral Wells, Tex. and is the daughter of Eldon and Angie Criswell from Eagle River. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1998.

Cimmie attended both Weatherford College in Weatherford, Tex. and the University of Alaska Anchorage.

The couple met at Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant in Eagle River.

The wedding was attended by Helen S. White (commissioner and groom’s sister), Marty and Agnes Quass (groom’s parents), Teresa Smith (bride’s mother), Eldon and Angie Crisswell (bride’s father and step mother) and extended family from both sides.

Richard and Cinnie plan on living in Anchorage this year, making the move to Eagle River in 2008.

A honeymoon has not been planned at this time.
