Meghann Jean Garacci and Michael Albert White were married Dec. 21, 2011, on St. Thomas, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The bride is the daughter of Henrietta Garacci and the late Ben Garacci Sr. of New Iberia, La., Frank and Ellen Garacci of New Iberia, La., and Brenda Garacci of Lafayette, La. The bride is a graduate of Catholic High School in New Iberia, La. and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La. She is currently enrolled in the nursing program at Louisiana State University at Eunice. The bride is employed with Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, La.

The groom is the son of Marilyn and Bill White of Wasilla. He is a graduate of Wasilla High School and the University of Alaska Anchorage. He is employed with Era Helicopters in Lake Charles, La. Following a honeymoon in the Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Moss Bluff, La.
