WASILLA — Wasilla High School's Drama Department is presenting “Mean Girls: the Musical” with help from A-List Productions and Valley Performing Arts.
“Mean Girls: the Musical” will be showing at the VPA theater in downtown Wasilla. According to a social media post from A-List Productions, this is the first time WHS has stepped out of their own theater.
A-List Productions founder Bronsen Stewart is directing the play featuring high school actors. A List Productions is also helping out in other ways such as assisting with the ticket admission through their system.
A List Productions issued the following statement on social media regarding the play: “We are so excited to be a part of this amazing experience with The Wasilla High School Drama Department.”
A List Productions went on to praise the WHS students’ abilities with the following statement: “Opening night is sure to be full of laughs, energy, and incredible talent from the Wasilla High School cast!”
“Mean Girls: the Musical” runs from April 18 to April 27. Admission is $10.
VPA is located at 251 West Swanson Avenue in downtown Wasilla near Iditapark.
