Why didn’t you mention the 7 percent administration fee?

To the editor:

I noticed that your recent editorial about the Pick. Click. Give. feature didn’t mention that, as of this year, a 7 percent administration fee is now being taken out of donations. I think this is too much overhead and I, for one, will be contributing directly to charities to avoid this fee. I understand that this money will be used to advertise. I don’t wish to contribute to ads that encourage me to give more. I welcome explanations of why I might be wrong. I have always used Pick. Click. Give. in the past.
