The foundational strength of our country lies in our founding documents and our Godly heritage.
Our leaders take an oath to God to protect and defend these documents; therefore the foundation of this country. Our country is faltering because our elected officials are taking their oath in vain, at every level of government, and “We the People” are not holding them accountable. The degradation of our liberties and freedoms is a direct result of constitutional negligence and ignorance.
I’m with the Constitution Party of Alaska for this reason. I was a lifelong Republican and very active in the Republican Party during the 2012 Presidential Elections. I was even an alternate delegate at the 2012 Republican Convention.
Unfortunately, the party sometimes ends up with candidates like my opponent who only became a Republican in 2012 and is still heavily backed by his associates from being a lifelong Democrat. He and his wife even donated to U.S. Sen. Mark Begich and President Barack Obama. My leadership provided the conservative voters in District 9 a backup plan. Now they have a true conservative choice and reason to get to the polls.
My candidacy provides a solid constitutional choice, one who has been fighting and standing for life, individual liberty and personal property rights for Alaskans since the day I first called Alaska my home. That is why I’m running. I’m stepping up to serve and provide the leadership we need to restore our constitutional republic, prepare Alaska for the future and solve problems with wisdom, common sense and ingenuity, and not by throwing money at them. I am the only conservative choice.
I have more than 17 years of NASA experience and worked at the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site to serve those in Fort Greely and the Delta Junction area. I have more than 11 years of extensive maritime experience to serve Valdez and Whittier. I live in the unorganized borough of Alaska and understand the importance of private property rights and ownership and the continual usurpation of those rights by our very own government.
The resources in Alaska are our lifelines and we need to develop those resources responsibly with our focus on good stewardship and sustainability. One of the greatest resources we have, that we take for granted, is Alaska’s permanent fund and savings, which represents oil reserves we once had. Proper investing of these funds with a sustainable budget will pass on the inheritance of financial liberty to future generations. (Note: We cannot touch the savings like my strongest opponent said he would do to pay for pork.) This avoids a statewide sales/income tax and assures the continuation of the PFD untouched.
I support our constitution right to privacy. I actively oppose Common Core. I’m pro-life, pro-school choice, and pro-gun (GOA & NAGR Member; my husband is an NRA Member). I’ve been endorsed by Alaska Right to life, Conservative Patriot’s Group, U.S. Senate Candidate Joe Miller, Alaska Constitution Party, etc.
My husband and I hunt, fish, garden and enjoy the great Alaska outdoors. We heat off firewood; therefore we cut, split, and stack firewood year around. I’ve lived a self-reliant labor-intensive life style for over 17 years either on a boat or on land off the grid. I know what hard work is and it’s what made this country great. For Alaskans who want less government and greater individual liberty and freedom, there is no better choice than Pam Goode. This isn’t just the way I think, this is who I am. I am the only conservative, constitutional, liberty-mined choice. If you want a true Constitutional leader, Vote Goode!
Pam Goode is running for election to District 9 in the Alaska State House.
