To the editor:
I would like to respond to Pet Tales in the Friday May 7 edition.
I first of all would like to thank the MSB Animal Shelter for its kindness and caring for the young kitten Petey who thankfully found his way into the shelter. Secondly, I have a hard time understanding why a person would intentionally hit a young kitten with such violence as to render the kitten blind in one eye. To the person(s) who committed this violence upon the young kitten, can you please help me to understand why this action was necessary?
If my life were not in transition now, I would adopt Petey in a heartbeat. I truly hope Petey finds a loving home to help ease the pain and memory of his young life that brought him to the MSB Animal Shelter.
