Why is it so hard to get information?

To the editor:

Does any one other than just myself have trouble getting any kind of answers to questions to the borough? I am being ignored by even such as the Mat-Su Borough Mayor and/or the Assessor. Those people would not provide the date the election is to be held or how to become a candidate in an election. Maybe the mayor didn’t want me to run against him? I might win.

I would answer the people’s questions with an “I don’t know” or “this is what I can find out for you,” not ignore the question or questions. Who needs an answer to their question(s)? Even ones to a lower rank individual. I am 75, retired military, disabled, stroke, etc.

The borough collected twice from me from the same alleged debt “purchased” and then twice demanded by the borough officers. Last time was a threat to foreclose for $60.17 plus or minus less than one dollar. Seems when buying a property, the debt is also bought. They demanded payment twice. Thankfully I had the money.
