Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Brent A. Wiggins and Karla J. Wilson were united in matrimony at 3 p.m. Oct. 20, 2007, at a ceremony held at The Palmer Log Church in Palmer.
A reception was held at Mat-Su Resort in Wasilla. Music was provided by Gary Mac Productions and April Knouse.
The couple recited their vows and the groom sang to his bride “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait during the ceremony.
The ceremony and reception were attended by close friends and family, including the daughter of the groom, Lauren Wiggins, and the son of the bride, James Wilson. James also gave the bride away at the ceremony.
Brent is the son of Malcom Wiggins and Cheryl Lewie from Lawton, Okla. He served as an Ranger with the U.S. Army and attended Pierce College in Wash.
Brent is presently employed as a construction superintendent with W.M. Lewis Co.
Karla is the daughter of the late James and Betty McClary from Broken Arrow, Okla. She received a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix as well as a Masters in Health Administration from Ashland University in Ohio.
Karla served in the 338th Tactical Squad as a personnel specialist for the U.S. Air Force and is presently employed as a practice administrator with Providence Health Systems.
The couple met at a karaoke club in Wasilla and will honeymoon on a cruise ship this winter to multiple destinations, residing in Palmer upon their return.
