The Wasilla Outdoor Youth Hockey Association Wasilla Wild squad scored the Peewee Tier IV state championship March 13. The Wild scored a 3-1 win over the Mighty Moose at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Patty Center to win the title. The Wild also beat the FAHA Green Reapers 3-2 in overtime on March 13. The Wasilla Wild include: Dace Applehans, Phillip Baletskiy, Aleck Judy, Mitchell Hansen, Orion Harmon, Garrett Magnuson, Dawson Monk, Ben Myasnyankin, Daniel Myasnyankin, Andrew Natekin, David Natekin, Yurity Natekin, Christian Rivas, Thor Schurosky, Daniel Sinyawski, Austin Shaw, Joshua Vest, Zane Ervin and Zachary Thomson. The team is coached by Kerry Marcott and assistants Charles Jeska, Eric Magnuson, Cody Applehans, Garrick Herr.
