William D. Henry, 73, passed on to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 30, 2003. Bill was born on March 8, 1930, in Missouri. In 1959, with his wife, B.J. and two young sons, he settled in Alaska where his daughter was born.

He also umpired his daughter's softball league."
Over the years, Mr. Henry made many friends that became a part of his extended family. He was particularly touched by the friendship of Mike, Jenna, Stephen and Carol who were always there to support him.
Mr. Henry is survived by his sons, Harold D. Henry, Neil W. Henry and his daughter KeithAnn Wallace.
Memorial Services will be held at Sully's Sourdough Inn on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, beginning at 6 p.m.
