Former Alaska resident William Darling, 47, died Dec. 30, 2001, at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage.
Mr. Darling was born April 22, 1954, in Fairbanks. He served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973. He lived in Alaska until the fall of 1991.
Mr. Darline had been living in California prior to coming back to Alaska for medical treatment.
Mr. Darling enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Darling, of Wasilla; his mother, Mary Darling, of Wasilla; and his sister, Olivia Robertson, of Kenai. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ginger Darling; and his father, Donald Darling.
No services are planned.
