Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

passed away at home holding his wife’s ashes in Wasilla, Alaska. He was born at Golden Valley, ND. He served in the Navy during World War II. He met the love of his life (Della) in the kitchen at Northwest Bible College in Minot, ND. They were ministers all their married life. They ministered in many states. They loved Alaska the most. He loved working with his hands, building churches and preaching God’s word. His message was simple; forgiveness.
He said many times he wanted to go home to heaven, to be with the Lord and his wife. He leaves behind 5 children. Lauretta Moreno, Wilhelmina Guyll, Della Jean Harper, Andrew (Buster) Hauff, and Alma Richard; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was stubborn in true Hauff fashion. William wore many hats throughout his lifetime and will be greatly missed
