WILLOW -- One of Alaska's most famed gardens earned another national accolade recently.
Les Brake's Coyote Gardens are featured in a 10-page spread in the "Perennials" publication, which is done by Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
It appears in the summer issue, which hit the newsstands on April 2.
Brake's Willow garden has been featured in numerous national magazines, as well as newspaper articles.
His garden is a cornucopia of colors, smells and sights that has to be seen to be truly appreciated.
The publication is quarterly, so the summer issue should be on newsstands for about three months, Brake said.
"I talked to our Willow librarian, and she said she saw it at Fred Meyer and at the Palmer Carrs," Brake said. "It's a real nice spread on the garden."
