BIG LAKE — A Willow man has been arrested for a March armed robbery at the Big Lake Superstore following a four-month investigation by the Alaska Bureau of Investigation.
Alaska State Troopers report it was Shayne Henry Anselm, 18, who used a handgun to rob the clerk at the Tesoro on Big Lake Road around midnight and then fled the scene March 27.
Troopers say Anselm was contacted and they arrested the suspect at his residence in Willow July 26 on robbery, assault and theft charges.
He was transported to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility with bail set at $25,000, plus a court-approved third-party custodian.
