The annual Fourth of July parade and picnic are being planned once again in Willow, and the community is ready to celebrate, organizers said.
"Every year it is a real nice event for us," chairperson Kathy Huston said. "There's lot of fun activities, and the parade is always a hit."
The parade starts at noon, leaving from the Willow Trading Post.
A picnic will follow at the Willow Community Center. It is a potluck -- people with last names starting from A through P should bring desserts, while last names Q through Z should bring salads or side dishes.
Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided for all picnic-goers, Huston said.
