Father and son score on Father’s Day
BUTTE — A local father and son duo earned points during racing action on Father’s Day at Alaska Raceway Park in the Butte on Sunday.
Greg and Nathan Thornsley each earned points. Greg finished first in the top eliminator, while Nathan was second in the top dragster.
Zach Richards, of Palmer, finished second in the super eliminator. Another Palmer driver, Monte Soper, was second in the modified eliminator.
