Wasilla resident Willie Bragg knows how to pick 'em, and now he gets to watch the big game on a brand new television as a result.
Bragg was the grand prize winner in the Frontiersman's "Get Into The Game" football giveaway. Each week, participants picked NFL games, with weekly winners taking home prizes donated from businesses around the Valley. All weekly winners went into a grand prize drawing for a 27-inch television, donated by Rent-A-Center in Wasilla, one of the contest's sponsors.
Bragg won two of the 17 weekly prizes as well. He took delivery of his television yesterday -- just in time for the Super Bowl.
Bragg is a big Miami Dolphins fan, but even though his beloved Fins aren't playing in the Super Bowl, he said he'll still be watching.
"I like Carolina just because I always like to go for the underdog," he said.
Brian Eddy, store manager of Rent-A-Center, and Tracy Ressler, the business manager at the Frontiersman, presented Bragg with the television. Bragg also won a gift certificate to Bagels Alaska, a gift certificate to Mat Valley Meats and dinner for two at the Valley Hotel.
