The fifth annual Winter Family Fun Day sponsored by Alaskans for Palmer Hay Flats has been rescheduled to 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday. The free fun takes place at Reflections Lake, Knik River Access exit at Mile 31.5 of the Glenn Highway where participants can try cross-country skis, snowshoes, and ice skates, or walk the scenic 1-mile trail around the lake, learn about avalanche awareness and safety, and stay toasty with hot beverages and cookies by the warming fires.
