WASILLA — Authorities say a Wasilla woman died after she was ejected from the vehicle she was driving after it rolled near mile 3.4 of Point MacKenzie Road.

Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle rollover at around 7:30 a.m. Friday. Troopers and paramedics from Central Emergency Services arrived at the scene to find Lynette Drumbarger, 66, unresponsive outside a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Medics were unable to revive her.

Troopers said their initial investigation determined the woman was not wearing a seat belt when she failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and rolled the vehicle.

Troopers said Drumbarger's next of kind have been notified of her death.
