Women's hockey team compete in annual C Cup tourney

Eight teams from across the state hit the ice at the MTA Events Center in Palmer for the 18th annual Ladies C Cup Hockey Classic Dec. 9-11.

The Dumpster Fires, a squad from Anchorage, was crowned the tourney’s champ. The Valley was represented by a team sponsored by Pioneer Peak Orthopedics. Teams also came from Homer and Healy to compete.
