I just got home from the candidate forum at the Wasilla Senior Center held at lunch today. All of the candidates for mayor of Wasilla were invited and all were there — except one, the incumbent, whose stated reason for not participating didn’t hold any water with me.
As far as I am concerned, there is only one candidate worthy of consideration for Wasilla mayor, Dianne Woodruff. She was the only candidate who actually said anything. She made sense. She talked about things she’s done, like changing Wasilla City Council members pay to per meeting actually attended rather than a flat amount per month.
