Today was the day to face the scale. Not being able to take advantage of full work outs while nursing my knee the past week and a half had me feeling less than confident as I approached the metal contraption.
Another three pounds gone! Three more pounds kicked to the curb, thrown out the door, kissed goodbye. Woo-hoo!
I didn’t get to the gym today as I spent most of the day working in Anchorage. I did watch The Biggest Loser tonight and discovered I might be wrong in comparing Brutal Bill to Jillian: I don’t think I would be able to get Bill to cry, although I think it could be fun to try.
Being in Anchorage today, I ate out. Looking over the menu, there were lots of bad choices to be made. My dining companion ordered the house specialty super cheeseburger with fries. Prior to this new lifestyle, I would have been ordering the same. Today, I ordered a spinach salad with blackened halibut, and really enjoyed it.
Dinner tonight was a grilled chicken breast with a side salad.
I’m keeping today’s blog relatively short so I can go satisfy my sweet tooth with a nice cup of sugar-free jello.
