Yes for Arvin, no to tax

To the editor:

I am writing to express my support for Ron Arvin for assembly. I have seen him speak several times and I know he will be the candidate who forges the Valley forward in a positive direction. He has the desire and experience we need to develop businesses and create jobs that will enrich our neighborhoods and eliminate the need to commute into Anchorage. Ron Arvin opposes new sales taxes and as a fiscal conservative and business owner, he understands how to grow, not stifle, our economy.

Our country is facing tough economic times. Sometimes it seems so overwhelming that we believe as individuals we can’t make a difference. That is not true at all. We can start fixing the problem from a grass-roots level up. That starts with putting the right people in local government. Ron Arvin is the right man for our borough assembly.

I hope you will join me Oct. 6 at the polls and vote for Ron Arvin and against the sales tax proposition.
