To the editor:
I have a nice story to tell and I thought perhaps a number of kids could learn how to get a job.
A few weeks ago, our neighbor Jim plowed our driveway. That was so nice of him, but he brought is 12-year-old daughter Kelly Sue Theresa along and she jumped out of the truck with her shovel in hand and scooped my sidewalk and porch. I was so pleasantly surprised that she is scooping for me and getting paid for it.
I had contemplated getting a neighbor kid to help me, but Kelly showed initiative by just doing it without asking or being asked.
Thank you, Kelly Sue Theresa, for being a great kid and neighbor.
You are truly loved.
