WASILLA — Youth 360 is hosting a parent conversation night in collaboration with Thrive Mat-Su Wednesday, Dec. 7.
Every local family is invited to attend and join this laid-back conversation about raising teens in the Mat-Su Valley.
This is a free event that includes dinner and raffle prizes.
Youth 360 offers after school programs and summer activities to Wasilla High, Wasilla Middle and Houston Jr./Sr. High students.
United Way of Mat-Su oversees the Youth 360 program, a local effort aiming to improve Valley students’ overall health and wellness by connecting them to their peers, families, and the community at large through fun and engaging activities that foster meaningful connections.
During a past interview, Youth 360 director Tyler Healy told the Frontiersman that “every student can benefit from something positive and constructive to do in the community,” and “kids that are connected to their community and say they’re connected to their community are much more likely to have positive outcomes.”
The parent night starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Mat-Su Health Foundation building. To RSVP, text 907-745-5826 or email director@youth-360.org.
