• Zoe Ann Rozzi of Palmer had a special visitor during her graduation from Linfield College this month when her grandfather, James Pigg, marched with her as part of the school’s Golden Grad program. Rozzi is the third generation of her family to graduate from Linfield. Her mother and grandfather also graduated from the small Oregon school. Rozzi has accepted a teaching position at St. Michael. She said she has wanted to teach since she was 6 and was inspired by her mother. During her college career, she excelled both inside and outside the classroom. She served as president of honor society Alpha Lambda Delta, played flute in campus music ensembles, worked as an aide in local elementary schools and played intramural volleyball. She also served as a peer adviser and worked in the school’s office of admission. She is a 2009 graduate of Palmer Higher School.
