There are now six COVID-19 cases in the Mat-Su Borough according to the latest numbers published by the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Thursday.
The new positive case is in Wasilla and is considered a local contact case. Of the six Mat-Su cases, four are in Palmer and two in Wasilla.
There are now 235 total cases in the state. Twenty-seven total individuals have been hospitalized and there are seven coronavirus-related deaths. The state also reports that 49 individuals who tested positive for coronavirus have recovered.
