A.W. Yarborough Jr., 45, died June 23, 2008 in Willow. A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at Valley Funeral Home’s Wasilla Chapel, 151 E. Herning Ave.
Yarborough was born July 21, 1962 in Cordova, Alabama, and came to Alaska in May of 2007, settling in Palmer.
“Junior was a loving father and brother,” his family wrote. “He will be missed dearly.”
He is survived by his son Wyatt Weiderholt of Palmer; father A.W. Yarborough Sr. of Pontotoc, Miss.; sisters Charlotte Spain of Willow, Cynthia Simkins of Palmer and Camelia Yarborough of Jasper, Ala.; and brother Monroe Dewey Yarborough of Livermore, Cal.
Flowers at the service will be appreciated.
Valley Funeral Homes and Crematory of Palmer and Wasilla is assisting the family.
