Adrian was born into this world on May 19, 1973, in Granada Hills, California. The hospital he was born in sits upon the baseball field only one block from where father Gary and mother Lucy grew up. As his father was an avid little league catcher, it was only appropriate that our wonderful son be born on first base.
The Hotchkiss family then moved to North Port, Washington, to be close to his grandpa Cliffy and his grandma Shirley Mae, Uncle Dean and Dale and Aunt Susan Weimer. In 1982, we moved to Alaska to begin our new journey in Girdwood. Girdwood is the only ski resort in the world at sea level. As his mother Lucy and father Gary both worked at Alyeska Ski resort, the boys were given season ski passes for 10 years. Skiing day in and day out.
As Adrian attended high school, he made many lifelong friends who still to this day are with him. In 1995, he met the most beautiful girl in the world. Her name was Amanda Frey. Adrian and Mandy were together for 10 years before they married on Dec. 1, 2005. Not only did we inherit Mandy, we got her whole family, mother and father Mano and Eileen Frey, brother Jake and his wife, Megan Collie, and son Cyrus Frey and, of course, Uncle Pat Fallon.
Adrian and his brother Victor are the greatest gift in the world to both loving brothers, sons and friends. As this breaks my heart, we say farewell to Adrian. Adrian’s hobbies were snowmachining, skiing, hunting, fishing and, of course, motocross. Adrian was a member of the Union Local 341. Adrian will be greatly missed by his three sons, River, Griffin and Cooper Hotchkiss, may they hold his hand forever and forever be in their hearts.
