On Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, Albert William White, surrounded by his family, was called home by our heavenly Father.
Born in Gary, Indiana, on Nov. 27, 1944, he was 70 years old. Over those 70 years, he served his country in the Air Force, worked as an aircraft mechanic, and then an industrial arts teacher. He was passionate about woodworking and was an incredible cook.
Albert was a faithful man who put Christ first in every facet of his life. He was a devoted husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He was always there for his wife, with love, support, and affection. He never told his sons how to live; he lived and let them watch him do it. His gentle patience drew his grandchildren to him without a word. A guiding light to all those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn; his sisters, Doris Chapman and Lydia Hayes; his sons, Paul, Chuck, Michael and Bryce, and their wives, Tanya, Meghann and Darci; as well as his grandchildren, Chase, Lance, Cole, Milo, Emma, Sawyer, Oliver and Dawson.
The memorial service will be held at Wasilla Bible Church on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m.
