Alta Helen Pecore

Alta Helen Pecore, 77, was born Alta Hawley in Norwalk, Conn., on May 11, 1930, to Alfred and Alta Hawley. She lived in Connecticut, Florida, Texas, California and in Alaska for the past 36 years.

Preceding her in death was her son, David Huckaby; and her daughters Diana Shakoske and Dawn Fergus.

Surviving are her husband, James Pecore; daughters, Dallene Pinkley and Denise Heibel; step-daughter Suzanne Dock Pecore; step-son, Brian Pecore; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom Alta dearly loved.

Alta truly enjoyed Alaska and living in the Last Frontier.
