Wasilla resident Angela Mae Hubbard, 25, died Nov. 7, 2013, from carbon monoxide exposure at her home in Wasilla.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m., Nov. 19 with a visitation beginning at noon at Birch Harbor Baptist Church, Mile 5, Knik-Goose Bay Road with Pastor Douglas Ferrett officiating. Burial will follow the service at Aurora Cemetery. A reception will follow the graveside service back at the church.

Angela was born Jan. 24, 1988, in Forest Lake, Minn., and became an Alaska resident shortly thereafter. She completed high school and was employed by Dr. John Hunter in Wasilla. She was a member of Independent Baptist Church in Big Lake. She enjoyed singing, archery, camping and fishing.

Her family wrote: “Angie was very bubbly, outgoing, vivacious, had quite a laugh, was a big helper, ran a nursery and volunteered time to help at church before anyone even asked. She loved karaoke and had a powerhouse singing voice. She sang a song to Joe at the reception for their wedding.”

Surviving are her husband and daughter, Joseph and Rebecca Hubbard of Wasilla; parents, Rick and Lori Townsend of Wasilla; grandmother, Donna Eng of Wasilla; grandparents, Sharon and Dick Townsend of Wyoming, Minn.; uncles, Keith and Eddie; aunts, Shirley and Debbie; numerous cousins; mother and father-in-law, Tammy and Sammy Hubbard of Big Lake; brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Krystal Demmitt of Big Lake; and two nieces and one nephew.

Preceding her in death were her great-grandparents on both sides of her family.

Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel of Wasilla.
