Ann Marie Richardson

Ann Marie Richardson, 58, ended her longtime suffering and went home to be with her God on Aug. 17, 2013.

She is survived by daughter, Terri Zigler and husband John; daughter, Tanya Davis and fiancé Jason Starrett; her father, James Smith Sr. and his wife Anne. She also leaves a brother, James “Buddy” Smith Jr. and family; brother, John Smith and family; and her sister, Donna Smith.

Terri gave Ann three grandchildren, Steven Richardson, 18, Brandon Richardson, 17, and Monica Rosario, 15. Steven is expecting his first child in February, who will be Ann’s first great-grandchild.

Tanya gave Ann four grandchildren, Devon Witkowski, 15, Kyla Williams, 13, Destiny Davis, 11, and Cassiandra Starrett, 8.

Ann also leaves behind her step-grandchildren, whose lives she has touched: Nelson Rosario II, 35, Justin Zigler, 30, Scotty Zigler, 28, and Vincent Zigler, 17.

She also has vast extended family and many friends from her home here in Alaska and from throughout her life whose lives were touched by her faith and friendship.

A Memorial service will be held at the Houston Fire Department at 2 p.m., Aug. 27. Donations for the family can be directed to Shane Starrett or Fire Chief Tom Hood.
