Anna Caroline Cherry, passed away on August 24th, 2021, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, after a long battle with myotonic muscular dystrophy. She was 33 years old, born on March 3rd, 1988 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She had been living in Wasilla, Alaska with her family since 2003. She is survived by her parents, Beth and Bryan Cherry; and her siblings, Alexa and Zach Cherry. Anna was unmarried and unemployed due to her lifelong disability, but that did not affect her sense of humor, Christian faith, love of Disney, and lifelong dream to be a ballerina. A graveside memorial service will be held for friends and family at Pioneer Cemetery on September 10th at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her memory.
