Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Wasilla resident Anna May Breazeale, 67, passed away June 16, 2010.
She was born in Sitka on Oct. 2, 1942, the oldest daughter of Monte Carlo Littlefield of Rampart and Edward Littlefield of Sitka. Anna May was from the Luknaxh.adi clan and her name was Saanjin.
She is survived by her son, Eric Jones and his wife, Jennifer, and their sons, Kevin and Aaron of Big Lake; her stepson, Jim Breazeale of Washington; ex-husband, Earl “Buck” Jones of Texas; grandson, Daniel Jones, his wife, Ashley, and their son, Blake; granddaughter, Tara Jones and her son, Xander.
Ann’s surviving siblings are sisters Patricia Younack of Sutton, and Rebecca Clark and husband, Tom, of Washington; and brothers, John and Terry, of Sitka and Dana, of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Jones; her parents, Ed and Monte Littlefield; and her husband, Otis Breazeale.
Ann loved her friends at the prayer groups and the beading groups she belonged to. She liked spending time at the Wasilla Senior Center, where she was a member.
Ann especially liked spending time with her great grandsons, Blake and Xander.
They liked spending time reading and playing in the park. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on June 25 at 5 p.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 323 N. Alaska St., Palmer. A reception will follow at the church.
Arrangements were with Valley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wasilla.
