Antanett Matea Bryan, 72, passed away Feb. 23, 2015, in Wasilla.
Antanett was born Feb. 27, 1942, in Kenai.
Antanett enjoyed reading, music, crocheting, word puzzles, antiques, houseplants and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Antanett’s family says of her, “She was a strong, hardworking, independent woman who faced many adversities in life, whose tenacity and bravery kept her going, astonishing everyone who knew her. She was a generous, caring, loving mother who was never afraid to tell it like she saw it and would always say, ‘Get it together!’ when we needed the reminder. She touched many hearts and will never be forgotten.”
Antanett is survived by her sons, Kenneth Johnson and Jennifer of Wasilla, Mark Davis and Lisa of Pennsylvania, and Robert Jackson and Lisa Sylvia of Palmer; daughter, Stefanie Vouvakis and Chris Eddings of Willow; grandchildren, Brandon, Athena, Alexandria, Ashley, Gabrielle, Nathaniel, Chris, Kyle, Kalei, Hunter, Lyra and Henry.
A celebration of life is planned in July in Kenai.
