Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Anthony “Tony” James Argend passed away Dec. 15, 2007. He was 25.
Argend was born Oct. 21, 1982, in Fairbanks, and later moved to Palmer with his family.
Argend enjoyed making people smile and attended Palmer Church of God.
He is survived by his parents, Tammy and Chuck Argend; brother Michael and younger sister Aubry. He is also survived by grandmothers Sherry Argend and Carol Leslie; and many cousins and other relatives.
His family, friends and neighbors will cherish the smiles and laughter Argend shared with them.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 19 at Palmer Church of God, across from the Alaska State Fairgrounds. Pastor Bob Tornquist will officiate.
