Anthony Howard Ralph Boot, 57, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on March 17, 2014.
A memorial service is at 11 a.m., March 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1201 Bogard Rd., Wasilla.
Tony lived in the Valley from 1991 until his passing. He was a kind and loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed taking long walks with his dog, Buster, along Schrock Road and Wasilla-Fishhook.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Christine Boot; daughters, Krystal Sandhofer and Katrina Boot; sons, Woodrow and Leviticus Boot; grandson, Cooper Havemeister — all of Wasilla; and father, Cornelius Boot of Vernon, BC.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Alja Boot of Vernon, BC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska, 1750 Abbott Road, Anchorage, AK 99507.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Cremation Society of Alaska. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at alaskacremation.com.
