Arnold Jay Lane died Sept. 28, 2012.
Arnold Jay was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapper and rodeo cowboy who rode saddle, bronc and Brahma bulls. He was born and raised in Michigan, but his lifelong dream was the Last Frontier. He spent more than 25 years living his dream in his second home state of Alaska.
He married twice, raised seven kids and has 13 grandkids, 11 great-grandkids, a very large extended family and many friends. He impressed upon his descendants his strong sense of family and loyalty.
“Happy trails, Arnie — until we meet again,” his family wrote.
