Beatrice Irene Williams, of Wasilla, Alaska passed away at Harbor View Manor, surrounded by her loved ones on August 16, 2020 of cancer. She was 55 years young.

Beatrice is survived by her husband and three children, Adam Williams of Wasilla, AK; Edward Wallace of San Antonio, TX; Scott Gardner of Wasilla, AK; Lance Gardner of North Dakota; and her 6 grandchildren.

Beatrice was born on May 8, 1965 in Palmer, AK to Beatrice and Lenard Smith along with her twin brother, Lee. She attended Wasilla High School where she graduated, then went on several years later to get an Associates Degree in Business Management. In February of 1994 she got a job working at Walmart, starting as a cashier and working her way up to Assistant Manager, where she would later retire from 25 years of dedication and service in February of 2019.

In addition to her illustrious career, Beatrice was an accomplished bowler and President of the Women’s League in Wasilla. Every Wednesday she could be found at her favorite lanes rooting and cheering her team and their competitors on. She was a hard-working, caring and compassionate person with a beautiful heart who touched everyone she came in contact with and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered as great Mother, Leader, Teacher, and Friend.
