Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Betty Jeanne (Clark) Frisk passed away June 23, 2017 in Crosby, Texas. She was born in Palmer on August 28, 1938. She was raised on the Lazy Mountain homestead of her parents, Frank and Jennie Clark.
Betty Jeanne graduated from Palmer High School in 1956 and graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a teaching degree. She received a Master of Education degree from Stephen F. Austin University in Texas. She taught school in Huffman, Texas and retired in 1995. She was very active in her community and also in her church.
Survivors include her husband Leonard Frisk, son Dale Frisk and family, daughter Judy (Frisk) Cox and family all in the Crosby area and sister Mary Jane (Clark) Phelps and family in Oregon.
The final memorial service will be at the Lake Houston United Methodist Church in Texas on July 1, 2017.
