Born in Monette Arkansas in 1941 to Varie Hickman. Bill was a merchant marine on the Mississippi River, served in the United States Marine Corp, started Action Construction Company of Dallas, Texas, and was CEO of Brothers Real Estate Development Company of Red Oak, Texas. He retired to Palmer Alaska in 2006 where he worked in the community, his motto was “No Job Too Small.”
Bill is survived by his wife Cynthia Ruth Hutchins and daughters Ronada Denice Hutchins and Patricia Tammy Ann Hall, granddaughter Paige Corey Mae Hall, and five siblings.
Bill served honorably in the United States Marine Corp from August 1959 to September 1965, B Company 3rd Recon Battalion, 4th Marines.
