Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Bradley Paul Wilson, 47, died Aug. 20, 2010, from pancreatic cancer, surrounded by family.
He was born Aug. 30, 1962, in St Paul, Minn. and spent his first birthday and the next seven years in Valdez. His family then moved to Anchorage, where he spent the rest of his life.
He graduated from West Anchorage High School and attended AVTEC in Seward for building maintenance and HVAC. At the time of his death he had again been working for Guido’s Pizza for many years.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Thomas Hunter Wilson, and all of his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Jane R. Griffin of Anchorage; father, Maurice L. Wilson of Brea, Calif.; sister, Kelley K. Griffin of Wasilla; younger brother, Jon T. (Diane) Wilson and their daughter, Jessica of Wasilla; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and step-family throughout the Lower 48.
As per his wishes there will be no service, and his ashes will be scattered by his family at Boulder Creek near the site of the cabin he helped build as a child.
