Brandon James Tomlinson, 26, of Wasilla died Jan. 21, 2014.
He was born in Anchorage Aug. 12, 1987, to Tim and Vivian Tomlinson. Brandon and his family moved to Wasilla in 2002 at age 15. Brandon was a very kind, trusting, loving kid who had a huge loving and caring heart.
He put others before himself and was always willing to help with anything. He was a hard worker and for a time held two full-time jobs at the same time while he helped build a home. He loved his family dearly as we will always love him dearly. He liked to make things out of what seemed to be nothing. He had invention ideas as a kid and loved snowmachining, four-wheeling, being with family and friends — especially family days and holidays. Christmas was his favorite time, as he would put up Christmas lights as a youth on up to the present time. Brandon was always a kid at heart.
He had found the Lord, recently attending church no matter what. He was studying for a CDL for a career in long hauling.
“He may be physically gone, but his spirit will live on with Jesus and he will never be forgotten or replaced,” his family wrote.
Surviving are his dad, Tim; brother, Craig; sisters, Angela, Christine and Sabrina; grandmother; uncles; aunts; nephews; cousins; and friends.
He will be loved always and forever.
A visitation is at 3 p.m., Feb. 4 at Valley Funeral Home in Wasilla.
