Long time Wasilla resident Brenda May Jaschek, 54, passed away December 30, 2023 while staying at Mat-Su Regional Hospital, Alaska.
A potluck/celebration of life will be held at the Palmer train depot 610 S Valley Way on February 3rd from 11am - 4pm.
Mrs. Jaschek was born May 14, 1969 in Anchorage, Alaska. She graduated from Mt. Edgecumbe high school in 1989. She married Lawrence Jaschek Jr. on July 28, 1990 in Fairbanks, Alaska. Brenda and her family moved to the Mat-Su valley in 2001 where she worked for Alaska Family Services for many years.
Brenda loved painting and spending time with her family. Brenda’s family wrote, “She was always so full of love”.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence Jaschek Jr., her four kids, daughter Nicole, and her three sons Kyle, Leo, and Jarek Jaschek, one granddaughter Lily Olivia Marie Dukes. Mrs. Jaschek was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Polzin.
