Bruce Lee Orton

Bruce Lee Orton, aged 68, of Anchorage passed away October 14, 2018.

Bruce was born on October 26, 1950 in Los Angeles, California to Leo Everett and Margaret Helen (Murray) Orton.

Bruce moved to Alaska in 1982 and he lived in Wasilla and Anchorage. He worked for Waddell and Reed from 1989-1993, Cal Worthington from 1989 until 1989, Checker Cab from 2006 until 2009 and Yellow Cab most recently, all while writing 5 published novels.

His family remembered, "Dad loved his children and grandchildren and was a true Alaskan homesteader and outdoorsman."

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Margaret. He is survived by his sons, Clinton and Aaron Orton both of Eugene, Oregon; daughter, Amber Fokken of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; grandchildren, Caden, Maddox and Nevaeh Orton all of Eugene, Oregon and Eastan Fokken of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A family inurnment will be held at a later date at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Eugene, Oregon. Memorial donations may be given to the Orton Family at 2851 Teal, Pl. Eugene, OR 97404.
