Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Candi L. Lefferson, 35, passed away suddenly on Dec. 10, 2015, in Wasilla, Alaska. Candi moved to Wasilla in December 1989 with her mom and sisters. She will be missed terribly.
Candi was the mother to five beautiful, loving children whom she loved more than life. She was a great mom and she loved that she was a mom. Candi was a very strong woman, smart, beautiful, kind-hearted and compassionate.
Candi was preceded in death by her son, Andy J. Lefferson; mother, Vickie Lefferson; and many other family members.
She is survived by her children, Christian, Kadin and Cali Ewing, Holly Christianson; father, Butch Lefferson; sisters, Brandie Lefferson (and Justin Hornal) and Jolene Lefferson (and Matthew Estrada); cousins, Jimbo, Jessica, Bradley, Amber; nieces and nephews, Brandis and Shaelee Klun, Joslynn and Justice Sena, Javin and Jace Foley; great friend, Eddie Hoeger, and so many extended family and friends.
Viewing will be held from noon-2 p.m. Dec. 18, 2015, at Valley Funeral Home, 151 E. Herning Ave, Wasilla, Alaska. Following the viewing, her service will be at 3 p.m. at Church on the Rock, 3571 W. Machen Rd., Wasilla, Alaska, 99623.
