Carl Frank Thomas passed-away peacefully, surrounded by family in Talkeetna, Alaska, on January 2, 2021 after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was 87.
Carl served in the United States Air Force and retired after 23 years of service. After his career in the Air Force, he was employed by ARCO Alaska, where he worked as a mechanic until his final retirement. Carl loved Alaska and remained a resident for 49 years.
Carl’s love for his family, generosity, and kind heart were an inspiration to all. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda; his four children, Dawn Rinehart, Allen Thomas, Rose Kelly-Grewe and Lyndon Thomas; his daughter-in-law, Cindi Thomas; son-in-law, Joe Rinehart; and nine grandchildren.
