Surviving are her brother, Jim Curtis; children, Scott Wagers, Lucinda Minoza, Rick Wagers, Wendy Atkinson, Elena Nielsen and Stacey Johnson; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Carla was a longtime resident of the Mat-Su Valley and Bristol Bay. She loved playing pool, darts and dice, knitting and crochet, and spending time with her family. She was a talented musician who loved to play piano duets with her brother. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Raiders.

A celebration of life is at 3:30 p.m., Feb. 2 at the Elks Lodge in Wasilla. Refreshments will be in the form of a potluck.
