Carol Ann Keeder Anderson 72 years of age.
Born May 2,1949 in East Liverpool, Ohio to Donna Jean Morris Keeder and Francis Floyd Keeder.
Passed from this world January 9, 2022, at Mat-Su Regional Hospital after a short illness.
She lost her fight with a rare Cancer found in November 2021.
Graduate of Oak Glenn High School, Chester, West Virginia 1967, graduated Ohio Valley Business College East Liverpool, Ohio 1968 with honors.
She married her husband on October 7,1968 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
She greeted her son Rodney Lee into this world August 30, 1970, Forbes Airforce Base, Topeka, Kansas.
Military PCS moved to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska December 2, 1971.
Hired by Elmendorf Federal Credit Union (Alaska USA Federal Credit Union) Feb, 1972 from which she retired in June, 2006. She held the position of Vice President Mortgage Production at retirement.
Lived in Anchorage from 1972 to 1982 and moved to her present home in in the Valley 1982.
Travel was in store starting September 2006 by motorhome from Alaska to Florida and everything in between. The travel log claims over 35,000 miles traveled. It was a nine-month odyssey.
She loved going to Las Vegas for the shows, the outlying area of Death Valley, Valley of Fire and Fire Valley, Hoover Dam and of course some gambling on the side. Never a trip without seeing one or more of the sites.
Her twenty-fifth Anniversary was celebrated by a Panama Canal Cruise in 1993.
Her Fiftieth Anniversary was complete with a Mediterranean Cruise with a Trans- Atlantic crossing in 2018.
An around-the-world-trip-cruise was planned, then killed by the covid outbreak.
Carol is survived by Leonard her husband of 53 years, Palmer; son, Rodney of Cebu, Cebu Philippines; grandsons, Kyle and Benjamin of Anchorage; sister, Lynn Reuter of East Liverpool, Ohio.
Preceding her was stepfather, Norman Welch and mother, Donna Welch of Chester West Virginia, stepmother, Elizabeth Keeder and father, Francis Keeder of East Liverpool, Ohio.
A private ceremony was held on January 17, 2022, at Khel’s Mortuary Palmer, with family and friends present. Her spirit will live on in all who remembers her.
Any memorials should be directed to the American Cancer Society to help them find better detection techniques to save more people.
